Shortly after that advice, I found an ad on Facebook one evening about the 6 Week New You program and was intrigued. I had seen other people posting about CrossFit and wanted to try it. I found CrossFit easy to love and I started noticing changes right away. At first the changes were mostly physical. People started telling me my face was looking skinny. Then the changes became more mental. A couple weeks in, I realized I was starting to feel like me again! I looked forward to going and I found that attending the 6:30AM class actually did change my routine. Little by little I felt the holes in my heart getting filled back in. It had been several months since I had been excited about anything.
The challenge gave me new energy. I felt confident and able and I met new friends. I now have the best support system in Amy, Uyen, and Nicole from meeting them in the challenge. We encourage each other every day and I know they’re expecting me to be there.
