About The New You Challenge

The New You Challenge was created to help people transform their lives for the better and get back on a healthy track.

It’s incredible to see what is possible in just 6 weeks when the right people get the right coaching, meal plan and support. At this point, hundreds of thousands of people all around the world have completed this program and it has transformed their lives.

As a participant in the challenge, you’ll receive:

  • Instructor-led workouts three days per week
  • A customized nutrition plan
  • An app so that you can track your progress
  • Additionally, you’ll also be part of a group of like-minded individuals. This group setting allows for plenty of accountability and motivation. You’ll be pushed, you’ll be challenged, but you’ll be inspired to be the best version of you!

Behind the Blog: About Tommy Hackenbruck

Tommy Hackenbruck has had a lifelong passion for fitness. In high school and college, he played competitive football, with career highlights including a stint as linebacker on Utah’s Fiesta Bowl champion football team.

He loved the weight room, training for sports performance, but he never had a passion for hitting the typical commercial gym. The stationary machines and go-nowhere treadmills seemed boring and uninspiring and the whole thought of training alone lacked the most important element…teamwork.

When his college football career ended and it became clear that he wasn’t going to go pro, it became necessary to shift his mindset toward fitness.

In the early 2000s, while living in Oregon with his wife, Tommy discovered CrossFit. This completely unique fitness module intrigued him, as it was unlike anything he’d ever experienced. Moreover, discovering CrossFit got him excited about fitness again, offering inspiration and direction in addition to a sense of community.

Ultimately, he brought the idea to Salt Lake City, where he opened a CrossFit gym. Before long, the gym was packed with fitness fanatics of all levels from novice to pro.

Tommy’s CrossFit journey has taken him to incredible places, including competing at the World CrossFit Games 7x. But on a more day to day level, it has rewarded him by allowing him to pursue fitness that’s out of the box, and by allowing him to transform the lives of others.

Now, Tommy’s expanded his fitness offerings with the New You Challenge, and will be blogging here to share some of his insights on fitness, health, and nutrition.
